ASOS LUXE Velvet Bow Ballerina

So, crushed velvet is back in fashion. Who remembers it the first time around? What about the second, third and fourth time around? I particularly remember the 90’s version, gracing floppy hats and retro LBDs.
It’s now moved on to shoes, thanks to ASOS. Possibly an accident waiting to happen in rainy Britain, but I sort of like it in this blue shade.
What do you think of the crushed velvet trend? Yay or Nay?

The ‘Polly’ shoe, in its various guises, has been a huge hit for Miss Selfridge, and its incarnation in red just seems to magnify this style’s presence and character. Cute, chunky and more than a little ‘Minnie Mouse’, this is a shoe to go out and be seen in.

SHEARLING BOOTS: These booties are some of the cutest we’ve seen for A/W 2010, and they’re on at a decent price at high street stalwart Schuh. Based around a clog ‘template’, the booties come low on the ankle, making them ideal wear whether they’re part of a skirt or trouser combo, and how much will we be loving that fun fur come bonfire night?
